Terms of Use
These terms are an agreement between you and EP Links. The parts that matter most are sections 6 to 8 — how commission is earned, when it is taken back, and what gets an account closed. Read those even if you skip the rest.
1. Accepting these terms
By creating an account or using EP Links, you agree to these terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the service.
2. Who can use it
You must be at least 18 years old and resident in India, and you must be able to receive payments to a bank account or UPI handle in your own name. One person, one account. You are responsible for everything done through your account.
3. What EP Links is
EP Links converts a product link from a participating store into an affiliate link that identifies you. If someone buys through your link, the store’s affiliate programme pays a commission, and we pass your share of it to your EP Links wallet.
We are not the seller. We do not hold stock, set prices, ship anything, or handle returns. Any question about a product, a delivery, a refund, or a warranty is between the buyer and the store.
4. Your account
Give us accurate information and keep it current. Keep your password to yourself. Tell us promptly if you think someone else has access. We may require you to verify your email address, mobile number, or identity before you can withdraw funds.
5. Sharing links responsibly
You may share your links wherever you legitimately have an audience. When you do, you must disclose that the link may earn you a commission — a clear label such as “affiliate link” is enough. This is both our requirement and, under Indian advertising guidelines for material connections, yours.
You must not describe yourself as an employee, agent, or official partner of EP Links or of any store, and you must not make claims about a product that the store itself does not make.
6. Conduct that will get your account closed
Affiliate networks treat the following as fraud, and so do we. Any of it may result in immediate suspension, reversal of affected commission, and forfeiture of an unpaid balance:
- Buying through your own links, or arranging for others to buy through them on your behalf.
- Generating clicks by automated means, or paying or incentivising people to click.
- Cookie stuffing, forced clicks, hidden iframes, or any technique that sets an affiliate cookie without a genuine, intentional click.
- Bulk unsolicited messaging, or posting links where you have been asked not to.
- Running more than one account, or creating a new account after we have closed one of yours.
- Creating fake referrals, or referring accounts you control.
- Misrepresenting prices, discounts, or availability to induce a click.
- Bidding on a store’s or our brand terms in paid search without written permission.
- Attempting to probe, overload, or circumvent our rate limits and security controls.
We also apply a daily limit on link creation. It is there to stop abuse, not to cap legitimate use.
7. How commission works
A click alone earns nothing. Commission arises only when a store confirms a completed purchase and its affiliate network reports that purchase to us. The network’s record is the authoritative one; where our figures and theirs disagree, theirs decides.
Newly reported commission is pending. It becomes withdrawable only after the applicable hold period, which exists because orders get cancelled and goods get returned well after the sale.
If an order is cancelled, returned, or reversed by the network — or if we determine it resulted from conduct listed in section 6 — the commission is reversed. A reversal is recorded as a new, offsetting entry against your wallet. It is visible to you, and it names the order that caused it. If your balance is insufficient to absorb a reversal, the shortfall is set off against future earnings.
Commission rates are set by the stores and their networks and can change without notice to us. We do not guarantee any rate, any level of earnings, or that any particular store will remain available.
8. Your wallet and payouts
Your wallet balance is a record of what we owe you. It is not a bank deposit, it is not held with a bank on your behalf, it earns no interest, and it is not transferable to another person.
You may request a withdrawal of confirmed balance above the minimum threshold shown in the app. Before your first payout we may require identity and tax information, including PAN, and we will deduct tax at source where Indian law requires it. Payouts go only to an account in your own name.
If we suspect fraud, we may hold a payout while we investigate, and we will tell you that we have done so.
9. Referrals
You may invite others to join. Where a referral reward applies, it is paid out of our own share and never reduces what the person you referred earns. Referral rewards follow the same pending, confirmation and reversal rules as ordinary commission, and self-referral or referral of accounts you control earns nothing.
10. Suspension and closing accounts
You can close your account at any time; confirmed balance above the minimum threshold remains payable to you. We may suspend or close an account for breach of these terms, for suspected fraud, or where a network or store requires it. Where we do so for fraud, unpaid balance attributable to that fraud is forfeited.
11. Availability
The service is provided as it is. We do not promise it will be uninterrupted or error-free, and we may change, suspend or discontinue features. During closed beta in particular, expect change.
12. Our content
The EP Links name, the site, and its software are ours. You may use the links you generate, and share our public marketing material as it is. You may not copy the service, reverse engineer it, or scrape it.
13. Limits on our liability
To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, for lost profits or anticipated earnings, or for the acts of a store or an affiliate network. Where we are found liable, our total liability to you is limited to the commission we actually credited to your wallet in the three months before the claim arose.
Nothing here excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.
14. Indemnity
You will indemnify us against claims arising from how you shared your links — including undisclosed promotion, misleading claims about a product, spam complaints, and breaches of a platform’s own rules.
15. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. For material changes we will notify account holders by email before they take effect. Continuing to use the service after that means you accept them.
16. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of India, and the courts of India have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising from them.
